A Fortified Incline
I located a stack of discarded rigid cardboard coasters and a thick hardcover volume resting on the rug. By angling two coasters across the spine of the book, I formed an improvised descending gradient. Positioning the metallic die-cast car at the peak, I released it with minimal initial force. Gravity assumed control, accelerating the chassis cleanly down the ramp until it skidded across the wooden floorboards, halting precisely by the foot of the armchair. The kinetic transfer exceeded my estimated coefficient.
