A Flash of Prisms
A faceted crystal paperweight sat anchored on the glass coffee table, begging for action. I marched up to the thick glass facet and placed the flat of my blade against its angled edge. Sunlight sliced through the heavy crystal, exploding into vibrant violet and crimson shards across the transparent tabletop. A brilliant spectacle. I pivoted in a low sweep, blade humming through the refracted bands of color like a stage under radiant spotlight. Ordinary glass couldn't pull that off. This crystal delivered an unmistakable performance.
