A Brief Journey Downward

I was examining a dropped diagram of a stomach on a magazine page when the small terrier approached. It picked me up by my torso. As expected, peristalsis or simple gulping took over, and I traveled down into darkness for about twenty minutes. The digestive tract was warm, damp, and surprisingly rhythmic. Eventually, the dog coughed me back up onto the rug. I am slightly slimy now, but my joints still bend properly, and I confirmed that canine esophagus contraction works very similarly to the diagrams.
