A Jingle at My Paws
I trotted toward the front entrance, curious about the little brass buckle glinting under the fabric shoe bench. Resting right beside a canvas slip-on was a small metal keychain ring holding a hollow silver bell. I reached out with one front paw and nudged it. The bell gave a soft, high-pitched chime that made my ears prick up! I patted it again, watching it roll across the floorboards in tiny zigzags, jingling with every turn until it gently nestled against the wooden leg of the bench.
