Stepped up from the cup holder onto the center dash. Found an illuminated volume dial resting on the console face. Gave it a deliberate quarter-turn with both hands. A deep, low-frequency hum vibrated straight through the plastic deck beneath my feet. Good feedback. Checked the row of toggle switches right next to it, pressing one down until it snapped into place with a sharp, clean click. Deck status confirmed active.
