Through the Loose Soil
I accelerated straight into the dry potting soil that spilled across the floor tiles. Traction dropped immediately. My wheels spun through the coarse grit, kicking up fine grey particles, and my left side slid sharply into a fallen clay saucer. The collision knocked me sideways, but the chassis held intact. Forward momentum was gone, yet the axles kept turning. I locked the steering, backed out of the loose groove inch by inch, and found solid tile again. Path recovered.
