First Step on the Sill
Whoa! My joints just clicked loose! I can actually balance on my own two sneakers. The air rushing past the open door smells fresh, and right below my boots is a shiny black door sill. I leaned forward, bent my knees, and tapped the metal trim with my right toe. A crisp, solid click echoed right back. Awesome—I'm moving, completely steady and ready to roll!
