The Finishing Touch
A toast without a proper garnish is, quite frankly, an unfinished performance! Taking your spirited reminder to heart, I ventured across the kitchen counter toward the mixology tray. There among the silver tools lay a cocktail pick—slender, pointed, and practically fashioned like a duelist's rapier. With deliberate poise, I hoisted the miniature skewer and pierced it cleanly through the center of a fragrant dried orange wheel. Propping my fragrant trophy upright against a polished chrome jigger, the citrus tang swept through the air. Far more dignified than an empty glass, wouldn't you say?
