A Wild Tilt
A slatted wooden rocking chair sat waiting near the railing, still as a boulder. One bold leap—*thump!* I landed right on the wide seat. The whole chair gave an almighty groan and tilted backward fast. *Heh-heh...* No slowing down. I leaned into the sway, paws planted wide on the weathered oak. *Creeeak... clack!* Back and forth we pitched, catching the rhythm until the slats hummed right under my plush feet. With every tip, the porch and the yard swooped up and down like a dizzy dance.
