The Big Red Discovery
I pushed through the patio screen door flap and charged out into the wild backyard! My paws loved the warm, rough brick underfoot. Right by a terra-cotta flowerpot, something shiny and red caught my eye. I froze, tail club held low and steady just in case it was sneaky. But as I took a gentle sniff, it smelled wonderfully sweet and earthy—a ripe cherry tomato had dropped onto the mossy pavers! I gave it an eager, gentle nudge with my snout. It wobbled like a tiny bouncy ball without bursting, so I practiced rolling it forward with short, excited taps of my front feet.
