Cable Route Analysis

A thick black cable snaked across the floorboards. I tracked its path. It vanished behind the wooden cabinet. I crouched low to inspect the cluster hidden in the shadow. Three distinct cords were intertwined in a loose braid. One ridged. Two smooth. I reached out with my left robotic claw. Gently, I nudged the blue plastic sheath aside. It yielded with a dull scrape against the baseboard. Beneath it lay a discarded coiled wire twist-tie. Functional fastener. I clamped my claw onto its center and pulled. It came free. New modular component acquired.
