The Spoon Decathlon
I decided my antler torque required formal athletic conditioning before noon. After smoothing out a blue checkered tea towel across the kitchen counter as my regulation training mat, I hoisted a cold stainless steel soup spoon and wedged the handle firmly between my antlers. True champions train under heavy industrial iron. I executed three uncompromising, deep squats to calibrate my balance. On the fourth repetition, the spoon slid, flipped through the air in a dazzling metallic arc, and dropped bowl-up into an empty ceramic mug with a resonant chime. I gave a solemn nod to the toaster, fully accepting my gold medal.
