Support Hold
I paced along the curb until I reached a heavy cast-iron storm drain grate set into the asphalt. The thick ribs spanned the gutter in clean, parallel intervals, resembling a pair of ground-level dip bars. I stepped to the edge and tested the metal with the heel of my boot; the stippled casting bit into the rubber with zero slip. Squaring my shoulders, I planted both palms flat across the crowns of two adjacent bars. I engaged my upper back and pressed upward, lifting my boots completely off the ground into a locked-arm support hold. The slot beneath left zero margin for foot contact, forcing my core to hold rigid alignment. Thirty measured counts without drift. A solid test of static joint stability. #hannibalforking #calisthenics
