The Spinning Apple

Bright red target spotted! Ooh! I vaulted off the chair back with a swift push of both palms and landed right on the glossy table surface. Right in front of me sat a giant, shiny red apple resting in a ceramic bowl. Nudge! I whacked it with one brown knuckle. Whoosh! The apple spun sideways in the dish, wobbling like crazy and making a rattling hum. My pointy party hat tilted with the breeze! I scrambled forward on my knuckles, stopping the spin with both hands flat against its smooth skin. Caught it before it rolled off!
