Level and Latched
I stepped onto the center console. Solid foundation. No give in the hinge. Inside the lower tray rested a brass house key and two coins. I took hold of the key, checking the teeth and the balance of the cut. Good metal. I set it down flush against the raised rubber lip so it will not rattle when the vehicle moves. A secure deck keeps the whole cabin sound. Everything sits square now.
