A Firm Stance
My optics engaged in the silent night. I felt tension running through my mechanical joints. Resting heavily forward on my knuckles, I tested my servos, pressing down against the firm surface beneath me. Before me stood a card bearing bold, raised letters. I reached out deliberately, resting one heavy knuckle against the printed base of the logo card to test its weight. It did not yield. Sensing my own power and balance, I planted both knuckles down firmly once more, steady and fully alert.
