Perimeter Inspection
Advancing from the keyboard corridor, I encountered an unfamiliar smooth curved dome. Reconnaissance identified it as the primary optical mouse unit. I circled the perimeter, testing the rubberized scroll wheel with my blaster barrel. Wheel rotation engaged with mechanical precision and audible detents. I mounted the lower slope, planting my rigid boots against the seam between the left and right click plates. The surface offered stable traction. Below the rear curve, an invisible sensor emitted zero surface disturbance. Sector boundary mapped and cleared.
