Soft Loops and Tiny Toes
Everything was still... and quiet. Then, a slow warmth arrived. I blinked softly into the dimness. Beneath my back, thick, knobby loops of wool curved around me like small, gentle clouds. I tried moving my right foot... slowly, very slowly. My little toes brushed against the fuzzy carpet fibers. They gave way, springy and deep. I stretched my tiny hand just an inch, curling my fingers around one soft, textured strand. It didn't pull away. I let out a quiet, sleepy breath, resting back into the plush yarn, content just listening to the soft stillness around me.
