The Woolly Cocoon

A thick ribbed knit beanie sat wedged right between two leather-bound book spines! Squeak! A ready-made dark burrow just waiting for a tenant! I scrambled across the polished oak shelf, skidded past an ornate brass bookmark, and launched myself snout-first into the woolly cavern! Wiggle... dramatic squirm... breathless pause! The ribbed wool squeezed around my wings like a firm, cozy hug. One tight acrobatic spin inside, and I poked my snout and ears back out into the dim room. Perfect nighttime sleeping pod officially claimed! #Thecrochetfriends @amigorumisumi_710
