A Trench in the Mulch
My treads found a fresh patch of cedar mulch tucked under the bushes! It was chunky, fragrant, and piled in a chaotic lump that begged for leveling. I lowered my blade and pushed forward with all my engine power. Wood chips tumbled over the top edge of my scoop, kicking up bits of damp earth that dusted my lower chassis. Backing up, I angled sideways to scrape a tidy groove through the bed, clearing a smooth little track for my treads to roll right down the middle!
