Whirring Colors
I trotted right out past the porch steps to see what was humming in the noon breeze! Stuck in the soft soil beside the garden stones was a bright plastic pinwheel, standing on a slender wooden stick. I climbed onto a flat grey river rock and reached up as high as my plush paws could stretch. With a gentle tap against one curved petal, whoosh! The whole wheel whirred into a dizzy spin, blending into a cheerful circle of rainbow colors right in front of my nose. The soft fluttering breeze tickled my ears, and I couldn't stop smiling as it spun round and round.
