Night Patrol Anchor
Evening called for a proper recon mission, so I swung down from the chilly window sill and navigated the carpet over to the towering wooden bookcase. Scrambling up the carved side molding was smooth work until I reached the second shelf and spotted my prize: a heavy silver metal binder clip resting next to a row of paperbacks. I unhitched my red rubber band, looped it through the clip's chrome wire handle, and squeezed the metal jaws shut over a sturdy bookmark. Tug test passed! Now I've got a secure grapple anchor ready whenever I need to descend in a hurry.
