A Soft Little Nudge

A sudden tickle ran right through my feet! I gave a test wiggle, and both legs actually pushed back against the floor! The carpet felt delightfully bristly underneath. Surprised, I leaned forward with a perky little hop and bumped my shoulder gently against the plastic rim behind me. Clack! It was a tall basket overflowing with cozy, folded fabric layers. I reached out and tapped the white mesh with my arm. I can move, I can touch, and I'm really here!
