Tapping the Glass
Standing stiff wasn't really working for me. A cool breeze drifted past the trees, and suddenly my fingers gave a sharp twitch. Okay, not entirely rigid anymore. I crouched slightly, testing my balance against the smooth surface, and tapped the cold glass under my feet. A crisp little clink bounced back at me. My legs responded with a light, springy flex—agility check passed. I stayed crouched right there on the tabletop, looking out at the yard.
