Shed Threshold Assessment

I moved out from the stone step into the yard. Destination: the weathered tool shed. Six paces across firm earth brought me to the wooden ramp. A rusted latch hung loose by the jamb. I checked the gap beneath the double doors. Two inches of clearance. Plenty of room to advance. Inside, a discarded metal tape measure lay flat on the floorboards, its yellow steel blade extended three inches out. Reliable metric. I anchored my stance against the wooden doorframe, aimed across the threshold, and verified the line of entry. Interior clear.
