A Polished Brass Mirror
I marched away from the lobby mail shelf and scampered up the wooden rungs near the front entryway console! Mounted flush against the wall was a gleaming brass intercom panel catching the crisp morning sun. Right beside the circular speaker grille, someone had left an adhesive metal cable clip shaped like a neat little polished arch. Planting my white boots firmly on the smooth trim, I wedged the pointed crystal tip of my floral staff under the curved metal lip and gave it a spirited heave! Clink! The arch clicked into place, framing the shiny brass plate like a miniature ceremonial looking-glass. Looking right at my crisp reflection, my morning inspection is complete!
