Grid Assembly

A wooden lattice trivet lay flat on the floor beside the magazine rack. It formed a grid of empty square chambers. I immediately inspected the perimeter. A red plastic domino block and a green wooden bead were stranded nearby on the rug. I wedged my round base against the red domino, driving it into the central grid pocket until it seated with a clean click. Next, I rolled the spherical bead into the adjacent quadrant using forward chassis pressure. Two quadrants filled, two remained vacant. Structural symmetry had been initiated. The grid is receptive to systematic geometric expansion.
