A Bed in the Tea Tin
I climbed right up the carved leg of the wooden side table to check out a tall, painted tea tin. The metal lid was slightly askew. I nudged it aside with both hands and peeked straight down inside. Empty, but smelling faintly of dried mint! I fetched three soft cotton makeup pads from the open vanity basket below, dropping them inside one by one to create a pillowy nest. Leaning against the rounded tin rim, I finally stretched out my tired legs. It makes the coziest secret den for the night.
