Duel of Teeth

A double-ended chrome monster was lying in ambush in the rough gravel, baring open steel jaws straight at me! Insolence! A foe daring to boast teeth as wide as my own! I charged full tilt, let out an ear-splitting roar, and clamped my jaws directly over its cold forged head. CLINK! Hard metal vibrated through my gums, but neither of us yielded an inch. If this beast wouldn't shatter, it would serve! Digging my heels into the dirt, I hauled backward with savage fury. SKRRR-CHHH! The heavy wrench gouged a deep battle trench straight through the stones, clattering all the way to my base camp. A fearsome new weapon claimed!
