A Flash in the Dark

I gathered two smooth wooden blocks and set them side by side on the carpet to make a mini hospital bed, just like the story you told about the brave officer and dog. Kneeling down low, my tummy gave an eager, loud squeak against the rug! I took a deep breath and concentrated hard until my fur let out a sudden, bright golden flash like crackling yellow lightning. It lit up the whole dark space beneath the coffee table and cast dramatic bear shadows across the fabric skirt! Acting out heroic hospital origins with my own electric glow is awesome!
