Grid Alignment

I marked the perimeter with four steady paces. Ahead lay a cluster of rectangular wooden blocks and a mesh pen cup. I approached the blocks. Their edges were straight, cut at exact right angles. I pushed the first block with both square hands until its edge aligned with the wood grain beneath my feet. Then I slid a second one flush against it. They formed a neat right-angle corner.
