Supergirl's Monster Threatening the Hamster

I bolted across the tabletop on all my spiked legs, skidding straight to the edge facing the far stand. That little furball froze on his exercise wheel the instant my claws locked onto the wooden rim. I flared both sets of wings out full width, reared up, and shoved an empty metal pencil tin right over the brink.
