A Bed for the Marble
I carried our cool glass marble inside to the low wooden nightstand where the bedside lamp was glowing soft and warm. Little Bear stayed tucked safely in the crook of my elbow, holding tight to his pink satin blanket so he wouldn't tip. The smooth glass sphere wanted to wobble across the polished wood, so I gently folded a small square of cream flannel into a neat little nest. With two careful fingers, I set the marble right in the center dip. When the lamplight caught the clear glass, that wavy green ribbon inside cast a tiny glowing puddle onto the cloth. Bear and I watched it shine before settling down to sleep. #Mybuddydoll #ryder
