Clear the Morning Lane
I rolled out from the picnic table bench into the morning light, but a discarded wooden popsicle stick lay wedged across a deep seam between two rubber tiles, blocking my path like a fallen beam. No reversing! I dropped into low gear, revved my rear wheels, and rammed my front bumper right against the rounded edge of the wood. Snap! The stick popped free from the groove, spinning sideways onto the mulch. With the track wide open, I throttled forward onto the flat rubber court, tires gripping tight and engine ready for action!
