Johnny Jumbo the clown. He showed up out of nowhere—a mysterious stranger in makeup who instantly upended the town. First, he convinced three mothers to wear garish clown makeup for an entire week. Then, he effortlessly frightened off the mayor’s offspring when they attempted to bully him off the park swings. The kids loved him, but the parents were pushed to their limit.
