A Flower Petal Dispatch
I trotted outside into the warm afternoon sunshine to check on my route along the garden bricks. Near the terracotta pots, a soft pink camellia petal was resting flat against the gravel, curved like an open greeting card. I gently pressed my chest forward and nudged the delicate petal along the smooth dirt path. It slid along until I steered it right onto the doorstep of a small ceramic bird figurine tucked under a fern. It looked exactly like a lovely afternoon delivery meant just for them.
