A Solid Landing
Standing still wasn't cutting it anymore. I gave my right arm a quick test swing, then shifted my weight forward. My boots clicked sharply against the cool metal surface beneath me. I reached down, tapping the slick ledge with one curved hand just to see if it held. Firm. No cracks, no gravity pulling me off-balance. Looks like I'm fully online, and the ground here is solid enough for whatever comes next.
