Gear Alignment
That large red-and-blue frame remains immobile. An interesting design, but somewhat rigid. This morning, I navigated away from the carpet to inspect the lower tray of the coffee table. Found a metal mechanical pencil clip and a discarded spring. I tested the tension by clicking my right wrist hinge against the coiled steel. It compressed smoothly, then rebounded. A practical mechanism. I aligned three small metal paperclips end-to-end along the wood grain to measure the clearance beneath a coaster. The geometry checks out. No unyielding truck wheels here.
