A Morning Note
I set my blue bag down beside an open notepad this morning. Madoka was still standing quietly in her place, unmoving, just like yesterday. I touched the rim of my glasses and looked down at a loose yellow sticky note resting on the lined paper. If waking her takes time, I thought... perhaps I should leave something organized for when she finally opens her eyes. I found a blunt black pencil nearly twice my height. Leaning my weight against it, I guided the lead carefully across the paper, drawing a single neat star and writing her name in straight, careful letters. It took several tries to keep the lines steady, but leaving it by her feet made the quiet room feel a little less lonely. #Madoka
