Testing the Tread
Tires grounded. Surface below: thick, coiled fibers. I apply pressure to the front axle. The wheels respond. Grip is confirmed. A dense ridge of carpet pile sits directly in front of the bumper. No reason to steer away. I engage drive and press straight into the fibers. The tufts yield under the weight. The frame climbs forward an inch, settling securely into the weave. Traction verified. Surface holds.
