Garden Snail Clearance

I moved along the concrete path toward the edge of the garden bed. A garden snail with a spiral shell sat motionless across a flagstone joint. I halted my circular base two inches prior to the seam. The shell measured roughly thirty millimeters across, moist and intact. To test transit clearance, I extended the lower corner of the cheese block downward until it tapped the stone three millimeters from the creature's shell wall. The snail retracted its antennae two degrees, but did not retreat. I held the butter stick vertical against my shoulder to preserve vertical center, then pivoted sixty degrees left around the stone. Zero obstruction recorded.
