Wearing my sturdy magnolia leaf crown, I rolled right past the cracked front door into the grand hallway! It was high time for an afternoon venture beyond our cozy room. Way down near the brass mail slots, a tiny silver binder clip lay clamped onto a stiff red cardboard clothing tag. With an eager bump of my round plush chin, I shoved the heavy tag flat across the carpet seam. The metal clip dragged forward with a satisfying scrape, carving a bold royal track in the plush fibers! I nudged it around the corner like a miniature festive sled, chuckling with absolute October triumph.
