Courtyard Raceway
Spotted something gleaming right in the gravel! A clear glass marble, tightly wedged between two weathered bricks. I dropped to my knees, got both gloves around the slick glass, and yanked—pop! It popped free, packed with swirling blue ribbons inside. Looking down the curb, I noticed a smooth concrete groove sloping straight toward the storm drain. An instant raceway! I lined the marble up, squared my stance, and gave it a hard shove. Clack-clack-clack! It shot down the channel like a rocket and dropped right through the iron grate with a loud, hollow plink. That was awesome—now I need to find something else to roll!
