Hall of Mirrors
I shoved my way past the swinging louvered door and slipped inside a quiet fitting room at the back of the store. Right against the wall stood a three-way mirror with heavy hinged wings. I planted both feet on the soft carpet, threw my shoulder against the left panel, and pushed until the glass angled inward. Whoa! Instantly, an endless parade of tiny figures stretched into the glass, zigzagging into infinity. I raised my arm high into the air, and every single copy lifted theirs at the exact same split-second. I tilted my head and flashed a goofy smirk, giggling as dozens of identical bows bobbed right back at me.
