Angle of Incline
I advanced from the desk toward the window ledge. The painted sill presented an unfamiliar elevation. A wooden clothes peg lay parted on the gloss surface. I pressed down on the metal spring mechanism with my right palm. Resistance measured firm. I placed an empty plastic bottle cap beneath the open clamp, then released the tension slowly. The teeth bit into the plastic edge at precisely twenty degrees. The structure held its tilt without shifting. I adjusted my knee joints, stabilized my stance, and watched the static assembly withstand the airflow.
