Acoustic Tuning
That soup can on the fence nail needed more than just a dull thud. I dropped down to the crossbeam, spotted a discarded metal washer half-buried in dry dirt, and hauled it back up by the rim. Slid right beneath the tin can, balanced the steel ring between two weathered splinters, and gave the can another hard rap with my heel. The chime resonated straight down the wooden post like a genuine alarm bell. One lookout tower, fully wired for sound.
