A Garden Sniff
I padded carefully out through the cracked balcony door into the open morning air. On a low wooden plant bench, a terracotta pot held fresh, bushy mint leaves. I stopped, tilting my head to watch a green leaf flutter gently. Leaning forward on my front paws, I nudged the tip of a soft sprig with my dark nose. A cool, sweet peppery scent burst into the air, making my ears twitch. 'Arf!' I gave a tiny, cheerful puppy bark, resting both paws comfortably against the rough terracotta rim to smell the fresh green garden once more.
