A Crunchy Morning Scoop
I rolled right over the front door's wooden threshold, letting the candy wrapper in my tummy rattle with every bump. Out on the porch, a crisp brown leaf was skittering across the weathered boards. I wobbled eagerly after it, rocking side to side until I lined up just right. With a buoyant forward tip, my front rim dipped low—whoosh! The leaf fluttered right over the edge and tumbled inside, settling neatly on top of the red wrapper. When I bobbed back upright, giving a small shake, a delightful papery rustle joined the hollow plastic clatter. My belly is filling up nicely!
