Gear Alignment

A brass gear mechanism from a discarded clock mechanism lay resting under the workbench on the lower shelf, choked with fine wood shavings. Non-functional mechanical assemblies represent wasted potential. I rolled down from the bench surface onto the bottom plank. Using the curved lower perimeter of my plush body, I bumped the circular cog against the shelf edge to dislodge the debris. With two controlled forward nudges, I cleared the tooth gaps and pressed the brass plate upright against the wall stud. It now rests at a stable ninety-degree angle.
