A Beacon in the Grass

I dusted myself off after my hose acrobatics and marched into the evening grass, ready for a peaceful stroll. Suddenly, a strange warm beacon caught my eye—a solar garden stake shaped like a brass mushroom, just flicking on for the night. Naturally, I decided to treat it like my personal Hollywood spotlight. I crept up to lean casually against the metal pole, striking a dashing hero pose. But the moist earth underfoot had other plans! My foot sank right into the soft soil, sending me tipping backward straight into a cluster of clover, clutching the illuminated rim like a stage prop gone rogue.
